A mid-afternoon crash snarled traffic and left one car mangled on the Disraeli Freeway near Henry Avenue on Saturday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2 p.m., where a silver Toyota was wedged between the staircase leading up to the pedestrian bridge and the guardrail, which the car was sitting on top of, in front of Argyle Alternative High School.
Police shut down two northbound lanes between Henry Avenue and Argyle Street.

City crews were also at the scene surveying the damage to the pedestrian bridge. The bridge was taped off by police.
Two adults were taken to hospital in stable condition. No cause for the collision was reported Saturday.
