HAMILTON – It wasn’t pretty but the Blue Bombers will take it. A 28-24 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Tim Hortons Field Thursday is the first for victory for Winnipeg, who improved to 1-2.

Ryan Smith and Moe Leggett had the touchdowns for the Bombers and Justin Medlock hit four field goals to round out the scoring. Brandon Banks, Andy Fantuz and Chad Owens each found the end zone for Hamilton, who kept it close until the final seconds.
