Adam Lowry and Joel Armia will wear Winnipeg Jets jerseys again this season.
The team announced Thursday the restricted free agent forwards have both signed two-year, one-way contracts.
Lowry will make US$2.25 million over the next two seasons, an annual cap hit of US$1.125 million. Armia signed for US$1.85 million over the two years, with an annual average salary of US$925,000.
Both players were coming out of their entry-level deals.
Lowry, 23, was the Jets’ third-round pick, 67th overall, in the 2011 draft. He had 17 points in 74 games for the Jets last season and has 40 points over his two NHL seasons.
Armia was acquired from Buffalo in the February 2015 Evander Kane trade. The 23-year-old Finn had 10 points in 43 games for the Jets. He also had eight points in 18 games for the AHL’s Moose in the early part of 2015-16.
Defenceman Jacob Trouba and forwards J.C. Lipon and Brandon Tanev are the team’s three remaining unsigned RFAs.
