Hey there, time traveller!

If you’ve always thought the best way to spread holiday cheer would be to send your friends and family a Christmas card featuring Jets’ captain Blake Wheeler as a pre-schooler wearing a turtleneck-and-sweater combo, this is your year.
The Winnipeg Jets wives and girlfriends are selling four different sets of holiday cards featuring old personal photos of the players or drawings created by them or members of their families to raise funds in support of the Can Do People charity.
There are four different sets, each with seven cards at a cost of $14.99.
The cards will be on sale at all Jets Gear locations starting today. The Jets wives and girlfriends will also sell them at various locations in the MTS Centre concourses during games Sunday and Tuesday.
Players’ wives and girlfriends work with a registered charity in Manitoba every year, raising money and awareness.
Can Do People’s mission is to provide a safe, rich environment conducive to the best practices for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, other intellectual disabilities or exceptional behaviours. They promote and foster the growth of each individual to enable them to lead fulfilling lives. Sales of the Jets cards are expected to raise $15,000.
