Thousands rally in Winnipeg in support of Women’s March on Washington

Thousands of Manitobans gathered in downtown Winnipeg Saturday, to show their support for the Women's March on Washington taking place in Washington, D.C.. Many carried home-made signs and chanted slogans with messages of solidarity for those marching in the U.S. capital. Braving soggy conditions, the Winnipeg protestors joined those in close to 30 other similar events in cities across Canada including Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
