Driving in the areas of the Health Sciences Centre and the Arlington Bridge will be a challenge over the next few days.

The bridge for will be closed to vehicles from 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Wednesday for regular inspection and maintenance. The sidewalks will be open to pedestrians while work is underway.

The city suggests motorists use McPhillips Street underpass or the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge as alternate routes into and out of the North End.

And the block of Sherbrook Street between Notre Dame and McDermot avenues will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday enabling crews to dismantle the large crane that has been used in the construction of the new Manitoba Clinic building. The clinic can be accessed via Olivia Street off McDermot Avenue.
