A three-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle in Tataskweyak Cree Nation Tuesday afternoon, RCMP say.
At approximately 1 pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a collision on the Split Lake community where the boy was struck by a truck in a residential driveway.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP say alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision and a forensic collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
