OTTAWA — A soldier accused of sexual assault last December at CFB Shilo will likely face a court martial.

On Tuesday, military investigators charged Master Cpl. Evan Paul with one count of sexual assault and two counts of behaving in a disgraceful manner.

Paul is a member of the second battalion of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, based at Shilo.

“The charges relate to a reported incident at a social event,” the military said in a press release. Officials haven’t yet set a date or location for a court martial.
