Traffic on Marion Street was shut down in both directions this morning because of a water-main break.

The St. Boniface street was closed between Dawson Road and Lagimodiere Boulevard.

The Winnipeg Police Service advised motorist to avoid the area, which was reopened to traffic later in the morning.
