CONSERVATIVE MLA Kelly Bindle has been appointed to sit on the Manitoba Hydro board of directors, replacing Cliff Graydon, who was recently booted out of the Progressive Conservative caucus.

Bindle, a civil/structural engineer and small business owner, is a resident of Thompson. He defeated longtime New Democrat MLA Steve Ashton in the 2016 election.

Bindle’s appointment was announced in a PC caucus news release. According to a newly released cabinet order, Bindle will earn $7,500 a year for sitting on the Hydro board.
