Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 17/12/2019 (2090 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
It’s going to be a bit like looking in the mirror tonight as the Winnipeg Jets take on the Carolina Hurricanes at Bell MTS Place.
Both teams sport identical 20-11-2 records and have been playing extremely well of late.
Connor Hellebuyck will start in goal for the Jets, who are coming off a dominating 7-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday afternoon which kicked off the three-game homestand.

There will be one lineup change as Jonna Luoto comes in for Mathieu Perreault, who is in concussion protocol after being the victim of a bllindside hit last game. Luoto will skate on the fourth line with Nick Shore and Logan Shaw.
Gabriel Bourque moves up to the third line to take Perreault’s spot, along with Adam Lowry and Andrew Copp. The top two lines and three defence pairs remain intact, meaning Carl Dahlstrom is the lone healthy scratch.
“We’ll take a look at the group and how they’re going. The other option is Shaw and also Shore on that right-wing spot (on the third line). We’re not looking for a perfect fit. We’re looking for pace from all four lines,” coach Paul Maurice said Tuesday following an optional morning skate by his club.
Carolina hasn’t lost in regulation in the last five games (4-0-1) and have gone 2-0-1 on this current five-game road trip, which ends Thursday in Colorado.
“They are on the puck and as quick on the puck as any team that you’ll see. Lifting sticks, putting pucks at the net, creating chaos off that. They move it very quick, they don’t hang on to it for a whole long. So if you’re not matching that speed and that intensity on the puck, you’re going to be chasing the game quite a bit,” said Maurice.
