On July 31, 2021, Legacy Bowes announced the retirement of Barbara J. Bowes and Paul Croteau, founding partners who are transitioning after 40+ years in the executive search and human resource business. This announcement comes after the sale of Legacy Bowes to Tipi Insurance Partners and a well-planned two-year transition process.
Legacy Bowes is now one of the most prominent and reputable sources for human resource and organizational expertise in Manitoba and NW Ontario serving clients in four major pillars consisting of Executive Search and Recruitment, Human Resources and Business Advisory Services, Leadership & Training, and pursuit of Truth and Reconciliation particularly the TRC call to action #92. Over the past two years, Legacy Bowes has extended its national reach to Southern Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia providing service in both non-Indigenous and Indigenous corporate and community sectors.
This new chapter for Legacy Bowes sees company leadership transitioning to Lisa Cefali, B. Comm (Hons) and Bill Medd, B. Comm (Hons), both whom have been with the firm for several years and were part of the partnership team. Lisa Cefali also holds her designation as a Family Enterprise Advisor, where her insight and approach assists multi-generational family organizations create a roadmap of success for continuity planning into the next generation. She brings with her a wealth of hands-on knowledge in strategic planning, marketing, organization building, and corporate culture, to assist all her clients with their organizational growth plans. Lisa will apply her leadership to the executive search practice.
Bill Medd has a strong experiential background in providing executive leadership to small and medium sized business enterprises. As a consultant and executive coach, Bill has applied this expertise to assist other developing leaders in business as well as large not-for-profits and Indigenous agencies. Bill’s speciality is taking leaders to new levels of excellence by building high performance teams that deliver on corporate goals and objectives. Bill will continue directing the leadership and development and career management functions.
