Why is Tuesday so special? In numerology, 2/22/2022 marks a ‘moment of alignment’

February 22, or 2/22/2022, is going to be a “moment of alignment,” according to Brooklyn-based healer Gary D’Andre.

In numerology, or the study of numbers and their significance, number sequences, or “Angel Numbers,” are seen to offer insight into one’s life from spiritual beings.

For example, 11:11 has long been touted as a time to make a wish upon as divine energies are said to be providing support. The repetition of the number 2 can be seen to represent life choices and harmony, 3 as a path forward, 4 as a sign for new opportunities and 5 as a sign of significant change.

While people often see synchronous numbers in their daily lives, say on a clock or on a license plate, it’s uncommon for the numbers of a date to be synchronous, D’Andre said. The rarity of this synchronicity is what makes Feb. 22 so special.

The Star spoke with D’Andre about what to expect on Feb. 22, the meaning behind it, and what we should keep in mind throughout the day.

What can we expect for 2/22/2022?

This is a moment of alignment. We don’t get a lot of repeating numbers as far as years are concerned. Feb. 2, 2022, just passed which felt like the beginning of a portal. Some people categorize it as a portal of stepping into a new level of ascension.

The time between Feb. 2 and Feb. 22 is an opportunity for you to allow other people around you to affirm the desires and decisions you are making.

And on Feb. 22, it’s important for us to remember that we have the opportunity to choose the path that we are going down.

Can you explain the numerology behind 2/22/2022?

Feb. 22, 2022 breaks down to the number 12. If you break down the number 12, it equals three, which is a number that relates to our spiritual journey.

Maybe you are at a place right now where you’ve been thinking about connecting with your ancestors. Maybe you are thinking of connecting with spiritual healers. How are you allowing yourself to receive this moment and ask for the guidance you desire, while also keeping in mind people around you are going to be mirrors for your journey?

Think of Feb. 22 as being the first step into this new life you desire.

What should we be thinking about on this day?

Think about relationships — not just romantic relationships, but your friendships. Do you feel comfortable showing up as your full self in your friendships? Do you feel comfortable being vulnerable with the people around you? How are you allowing yourself to get out of your head and drop into your body?

How are you stepping further into your purpose? Don’t be fearful of asking for those desires that are in your heart, and know that you have the opportunity to go ahead and follow the path that feels the most aligned for you.

This day is an opportunity for you to think about how you can share your voice in a way that allows you to take control of your choices once again, and have people see you in your most divine life.

Can you pull some Tarot cards to help illuminate what Feb. 22 has in store?

The first card is the “Crossroads” card, which is all about us choosing what path we want to go down and making choices that help us feel aligned to the best version of ourselves. Think of a career choice, think of where you put your energy and the people you surround yourself with. How can you share your voice in a way that allows you to take control of your choices again?

This isn’t a test. This is a gauge to see if you’re ready to grow into your purpose. Can you accept your destiny at this time?

To illuminate the “Crossroads” card, I pulled the “Hanged Man” in reverse, the “Knight of Pentacles,” and the “Creator.”

The “Hanged Man” represents waiting, birth, sacrifice and reflection. It represents a period where you no longer have to wait. It’s time for you to sacrifice and let go of some things that don’t feel like they are resonating with you anymore. It’s telling us we have to look at things from a different perspective.

The “Knight of Pentacles” represents prosperity, growth and investments. It’s about “taking the journey.” Everything takes time, everything takes effort. It’s an opportunity to step into something brand new. It represents strength and knowing you have support to help you on your journey.

The “Creator” is a sign that you’re allowed to say “no.” It means having clarity around what is and isn’t good for you. You know what is best for yourself.

As we close the portal from Feb. 2 to 22, how are you putting yourself into these new blessings, opportunities and abundances that are coming your way? How are you saying no to things that don’t serve you anymore?

Once you take ownership of the frequency that you are on, and once you take ownership of the life that you want to create for yourself, you’ll know when you’re supposed to say no. You’ll also know when your body is giving you a resounding “yes.”

How are we going to feel on Feb. 22?

Feb. 22 is bringing a lot of opportunities, growth and sacrifice, so it may feel a little heavy or overwhelming. But you’re stronger than you give yourself credit for.
