Hey there, time traveller!

Manitobans will get a chance to give thanks and enjoy the change in seasons this Thanksgiving Monday.
It’s a statutory holiday, meaning civic, provincial and federal offices are closed. This includes advance polling at city hall for the Oct. 26 civic election, which is closed over the weekend and Monday, and resumes Tuesday.
Here at the Free Press, we won’t publish a print edition Monday, but will have an e-edition available to subscribers.
Businesses and services across the city will change their hours for the Monday holiday.
Here’s a selection:
COVID-19
Bivalent COVID-19 boosters will be offered through primary health care providers for those eligible.
Pre-operative patients can receive COVID-19 PCR testing at the Dakota Medical Centre from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., but appointments must be booked in advance.
SHOPPING
CF Polo Park, St. Vital Shopping Centre, Garden City Shopping Centre and the Outlet Collection mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Grant Park Shopping Centre will open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Forks Market is scheduled to be open.
Most grocery stores, including Safeway, Sobeys, Superstore and Walmart, will be open.
Manitoba Liquor Mart stores in Winnipeg will operate from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for the True North Square Liquor Mart, which will be closed. For details on exceptions and rural Liquor Mart hours, visit www.LiquorMarts.ca/hours.
Beer vendors and private wine stores set their own hours for the holiday, so Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries suggests the best way to find out if the one near you will be open is to call.
ENTERTAINMENT
The Assiniboine Park Zoo will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Manitoba Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Children’s Museum will be 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
