The Manitoba government will set out its plan for the last legislative session before the election in a throne speech on Nov. 15.

The Progressive Conservatives’ agenda will focus on affordability, economic growth, health and safety, Premier Heather Stefanson said in a news release.

“In the past year, we have invested in affordability, addressing crime, furthering reconciliation, made strides in reducing wait times for health care and have seen record levels of growth in this province,” the release said.

“We know there is more to do help families make ends meet, strengthen services and make communities safer. As we move forward with this work, we will also invest in education, child care and initiatives to build stronger communities. By working together, we can build a better Manitoba for everyone.”

The next provincial election is due Oct. 3 at the latest.
