Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson is tied for the lowest approval rating among the country’s premiers, pollster Angus Reid Institute found.

Stefanson has a 25 per cent approval rating, the pollster’s quarterly public opinion survey determined. She is tied with New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs for last.

Stefanson’s standing in the opinion polls dropped one percentage point since the December 2022 survey.

Premier Heather Stefanson has a 25 per cent approval rating, tied with New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs for last.

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Andrew Furey is enjoying the highest approval ratings of the premiers at 62 per cent.

The survey was conducted online from March 6 to this Monday, with a representative randomized sample of 4,899 Canadian adults who are members of the Angus Reid Institute’s forum.

The margin of error is plus or minus one percentage point 19 times out of 20, for comparison purposes only.
