A 12-year-old girl was rushed to hospital in unstable condition after being stabbed at a house party early Tuesday.
Winnipeg police said a group of teens were at a gathering at a home on the 500 block of Flora Avenue when one — a 13-year-old girl — was pushed out of the residence.
A short time later, the teen returned, armed with a knife, and accompanied by an adult woman carrying an imitation firearm, police said.

A 12-year-old girl was rushed to hospital in unstable condition after being stabbed at a house party early Tuesday, police said.
Police said the pair forced their way into the home and confronted the teens inside. A 12-year-old girl was stabbed, and the two suspects fled.
The girl was taken to hospital in unstable condition, since been upgraded to stable, police said.
Officers were called at about 1:45 a.m., and shortly after police found and arrested a 38-year-old woman on the 200 block of Pritchard Avenue. An imitation firearm was seized.
A 13-year-old girl was into custody on the 1600 block of Magnus Avenue.
The youth is facing charges including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and break and enter. The adult woman faces charges including aggravated assault, use of an imitation firearm during an indictable offence, and break and enter.
Both were released on undertakings, as mandated by the Criminal Code.
Police would not say Tuesday if the suspects are related.
