Hey there, time traveller!

RCMP officers had to rescue a man who fell through ice, give him first aid for hypothermia, and get him to the nearest road — before they could arrest him on sexual assault charges.
As well, Mounties also charged the man for assaulting them, even as they were trying to save him, Norway House RCMP said Monday.
RCMP said officers were on patrol in the community (some 450 kilometres north of Winnipeg) on April 28, at about 1 p.m., when they spotted a 21-year-old man wanted for sexual assault.
RCMP HANDOUT
RCMP spent 2 1/2 hours pursuing the man over seven kilometres in Norway House.
The man fled into the bush with officers following in what would become a 2 1/2-hour pursuit over seven kilometres.
He ran onto the ice on Little Playgreen Lake where he fell through several times and even lost his shoes, police said.
Three officers put on float suits and went out to get the man, with one falling through the ice without injury. They were able to get the man off the ice to shore, even though he kept assaulting them, police said.
The man went into medical distress for hypothermia, with officers administering first aid in a makeshift shelter.
No vehicle could get to them, so with the help of paramedics, local firefighters, and First Nation safety officers, they carried the man out of the bush to the nearest road on a stretcher.
The man was taken to hospital, where he was treated and later released into police custody.
