A man and a woman have been charged after a stabbing on Friday.
On Oct. 27 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Winnipeg police attended to a 57-year-old man who had been stabbed in a parking lot in the 100 block of Pandora Avenue West.
Officers provided emergency medical care to the victim, who was suffering from a serious upper-body injury. He was transported to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable condition after undergoing emergency surgery.

Officers arrested an adult female suspect nearby, and an adult male suspect in the 300 block of Victoria Avenue West. Officers recovered a knife from the male suspect.
Investigators learned a vehicle had been reported stolen on Oct. 26 and was recognized by the victim in the parking lot. A verbal altercation ensued between the victim and the suspects before the victim was stabbed.
While in the suspects were in custody, investigators also linked the two to a separate attack that occurred on Oct. 26. A 22-year-old woman was assaulted when she got off a transit bus near the intersection of Talbot Avenue and Elmwood Street.
One of the suspects allegedly produced a knife and attempted to rob the victim, who was physically assaulted before both suspects fled on foot.
A 24-year-old male from Winnipeg is facing a series of charges, inclouding robbery, aggravated assault, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and identity fraud, which resulted from providing a false name at the time of arrest.
A 26-year-old female from Winnipeg has been charged with robbery and theft of motor vehicle.
