For the first time, Goldeyes players wore special-edition dog jerseys featuring a collage of about 160 pet photos submitted by the dogs’ owners. The jerseys are set to be auctioned off at the remaining home games of the season, with the proceeds supporting the Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation. Proceeds from the 50-50 draw during the Aug. 17 game went to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter.
