Summer development camp is right around the corner, with the five-day event beginning Monday at the Hockey For All Centre.

This will be a chance to peer into the future, with several top prospects on display including players who will be picked by the organization on Friday and Saturday during the NHL draft. As a result, a full roster is not yet available.

Players hit the ice during the first day of the 2024 Winnipeg Jets development camp at the Hockey for All Centre. This year’s summer development camp starts Monday.

However, you can expect to see the likes of Brayden Yager, Elias Salomonsson, Colby Barlow, Kieron Walton, Kevin He and Jacob Julien, among others. The Jets will also have several free agent invites on hand who are hoping to catch on with an organization after going undrafted.

Monday will involve off-ice testing and classroom sessions, with on-ice skates running Tuesday through Friday. (9:30 a.m. start Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. start on Wednesday). All sessions are open to the public and free of charge.

The camp is run by director of player development personnel in Jimmy Roy and Mike Keane, who have a long list of items they work through including things like fitness and nutritional training, social media awareness, mental health and team bonding exercises.
