Winnipeg Transit is adding rides and post-midnight service to routes across the city.

Starting April 12, in line with Transit’s spring schedule, 10 bus routes will operate past midnight:

  • D10: Panet – Adsum
  • D14: Dugald – Broadway
  • D16: Academy – Notre Dame
  • D17: Talbot – Selkirk
  • 28: Arlington – Stafford
  • 38: Mountain – Munroe
  • 43: Watt – Logan
  • 70: Roblin
  • 74: Kenaston – Keewatin
  • 680: River Heights – Cambridge

More trips will be added to the following routes:

  • The F5 line, which runs on Notre Dame Avenue and McPhillips Street.
  • The F8 line, along Pembina Highway and Henderson Highway.
  • Buses will be added on route 74 between CF Polo Park and Old Commonwealth Path.
  • Route 557, which serves South Osborne, Southdale, Island Lakes, and Sage Creek.
  • On Route 676 from St. Vital Centre to Bridgwater Centre, and from St. Vital Centre to Creek Bend Road.

There will also be fewer FX3 Regent – Grant buses east of Kildonan Place and FX4 Gateway – Portage buses north of McLeod Avenue, due to lower-than-expected ridership, the City of Winnipeg said Tuesday.

“These changes have been guided by the great feedback we continue to receive from Winnipeggers,” the city’s news release said.
