Mark Chipman has been booked to address a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce luncheon on June 16 at the Fairmont Hotel.

Not only will there be a microphone at the podium, but the Chamber promises the chairman of True North Sports & Entertainment will provide “the inside scoop” on the deal.

The luncheon is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. and wrap up two hours later.

Tickets for Chamber members are $45 and $60 for the general public.

If you want to go, you better act quickly: “Tickets have been going fast and furious today,” said Chuck Davidson, the Chamber’s vice-president of policy.

“We’re expecting a big crowd for this one.”
