ANOTHER Liquor Mart Express store has popped open in Winnipeg.
Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries announced Monday a new Liquor Mart Express is operating out of the Real Canadian Superstore at 1385 Sargent Ave. The Sargent store is expected to carry 475 listings of popular beers, wines, spirits and coolers.
The Sargent shop is the sixth location to open in the province and fourth to open inside a grocery store.
Two more Liquor Mart Express locations are set to open in major Winnipeg grocers; Sobeys (Reenders Drive) and Safeway (McPhillips Street and Jefferson Avenue) are set to open later this spring.
Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries says plans are underway to open two more locations in the south end of Winnipeg later this year, increasing the total number of express stores around the province to 10.
