Shahab Ahmed, M.Sc., P.Eng.
joins Stantec as a bridge engineer. Ahmed has 10 years of experience in Canada and 16 years of experience prior to arriving in Canada. Ahmed has a strong background in the analysis and design of concrete and steel structures. His experience includes the conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of bridges, buried structures, earth-retaining structures, deep and shallow foundations and other transportation structures using pre-stressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel and timber components.
Steven Loptson, P.Eng.
joins Stantec as a transportation engineer. Loptson is a graduate of the University of Calgary with 15 years of professional experience throughout Western Canada. In his role, he will be working with the transportation team to manage projects ranging from highway and urban arterial preliminary and detailed design, construction contract administration and quality-control review work.
