Richardson International Limited has acquired a retail crop inputs operation in northern Alberta to fill in its Ag Business Centre retail network in the Peace River region.
The acquisition of Agland Seed and Chemical Ltd., in La Crete, Alta., will complement the existing Richardson Pioneer network, according to Tom Hamilton, vice-president of agribusiness operations at Richardson International.
Richardson’s Ag Business Centre retail network provides clients with seed, fertilizer and crop-protection technologies, as well as support from agronomists.
Richardson’s nearest Ag Business Centre is in High Level, Alta.
Winnipeg-based Richardson Pioneer is a subsidiary of Richardson International Limited, Canada’s leading agribusiness.
