Lingerie retailer, La Senza is closing two of its three stores in Winnipeg.
An employee at the Polo Park store said that store was closing as well as the St. Vital store but that its Kildonan Place store would remain open.
In December, 2018 the chain was sold by retail giant L Brands — which also owns Victoria’s Secret — to a private equity firm.
L Brands bought the Canadian chain La Senza for about $700 million in early 2007. It still had to report a charge of about $40 million in the third quarter of this year.
