When planning your next trip to CF Polo Park mall, you can map out your shopping expedition while sitting on your couch at home and using Cadillac Fairview’s new mobile app — LiVE by CF.
CF is the operator of 19 shopping centres throughout Canada, including CF Polo Park in Winnipeg. All 19 malls will be included in the app, which is available on Apple and Android app stores. CF said the new app improves on previous software to make shopping easier for those who prefer to shop in person rather than online.
Manitoba is entering Phase 3 of reopening the province this Sunday, so shoppers might want to start planning their trips to the mall ahead of time to be as safe and efficient as possible as gathering sizes increase during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new app gives users a store directory in their pocket to map out their time inside the shopping centre, along with the locations of all hand sanitizer stations and washrooms throughout the mall so shoppers have easy access to wash their hands.
The app will show up-to-date hours for malls and retailers — including which ones haven’t reopened yet. Participating retailers will also have their store inventory available on the app, so shoppers can search and tag what they are looking for before setting foot in the store.
“The success of CF and our retail clients is inextricably linked,” said Jose Ribau, CF’s executive vice president, digital and innovation. “And through a focus on digitizing the experience we are committed to strengthening our relationships with our retail partners and helping them as they navigate this unprecedented time.”
The LiVE by CF app also has information about curbside pickup and allows retailers to send special offers to the app’s users for in-store savings.
