SARA Stasiuk has been named the new president and CEO of The Forks North Portage Partnership.
For the past five years Stasiuk has been the organization’s vice-president of finance and operations. Prior to her work at The Forks, Stasiuk was the executive director of Manitoba Music for seven years.
Stasiuk brings more than 14 years of executive level experience growing and developing community, arts, and tourism organizations throughout Manitoba. During her time with The Forks she’s strengthened the organization’s operations and helped develop and oversee an entrepreneurial approach to the continued growth and success of The Forks North Portage.
She takes over the position immediately from outgoing CEO Paul Jordan, who is retiring after 30 years with the Forks, including seven years as CEO.
Stasiuk was selected after a nation-wide executive search process.
Incuded in the active files she’ll be addressing is Railside at The Forks, the long-awaited residential development which is in the early stages of construction.
