Hey there, time traveller!

The Manitoba Restaurant and Foodservices Association has released its latest Dine Guide, aiming to raise $50,000 for charity.
The non-profit has partnered with The Dream Factory, the Toba Centre for Children and Youth, 1JustCity and the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation, with $5 from each $25 Dine Manitoba Restaurant Guide going towards one of the four charities.
Fifty Manitoba restaurants offer deals, like buy-one-get-one-half-off sales, through the guide. Calabria Market and Fine Wines, Smitty’s and Sorrento’s are among the participating eateries.
The guide will be sold at 13 locations, including most Smitty’s restaurants, and online at dinemanitoba.ca. A full list of locations, and more details about the guide, are available on the website.
The 2024 guide can be bought until Jan. 31, 2024. Its deals inside end on Dec. 31, 2024; more than $2,000 in savings are available, the MRFA advertises.
The MRFA released a Dine Guide in 2021 and sold more than 4,500 copies. It raised $20,000 for The Dream Factory, CEO Shaun Jeffrey said.
