Hey there, time traveller!

Interactive gaming firm Activate’s global footprint continues to grow.
Earlier this week, the Winnipeg-based company announced a partnership to expand into France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Portugal.
France will be the first Activate recipient; a location at Imagipark, a mall near Paris, is set to open this summer.
The hub follows openings in London and Dubai. Norway, Denmark, Germany and Kuwait are among the cities pegged for 15 Activates under construction.
Activate currently has 40 locations — most of which are in North America — and has plans to open 200 new centres over the next decade.
It uses licensing agreements to expand. The latest, fuelling its European growth, is with Hadrena.
Hadrena oversees more than 130 leisure centres. It learned of Activate via social media. Videos showcasing Activate’s game rooms — in particular, a floor-is-lava style room — have garnered millions of views online.
Activate has patented its games, meaning they can’t be replicated elsewhere.
