The maker of rip-resistant Sheertex pantyhose has a new leader. SRTX says Sophie Boulanger has become its CEO.
The Montreal-based company says Boulanger is ideal for its top job because she has a track record of scaling brands.
Boulanger co-founded eyewear company BonLook, which was eventually acquired by FYidoctors in 2021.

SRTX hopes she will help the company expand globally and strengthen its wholesale business and private-label partnerships.
Boulanger takes over from Timothy Leyne, who served as interim CEO after Katherine Homuth departed the business.
In the lead-up to her departure, Sheertex temporarily laid off 40 per cent of SRTX’s staff because of the tariff war that had broken out between the U.S. and Canada.
This report by The Canadian Press was first published Sept. 4, 2025.
