MONTREAL – CAE Inc. has signed a deal to sell Flightscape, its airline operations software business, to aviation technology company SITA.

The company says the enterprise value of the deal is US$500 million.

CAE CEO Matthew Bromberg says SITA is the right owner for Flightscape’s next chapter and is well positioned to support its customers, employees, and continued growth.

Bromberg says the sale will sharpen CAE’s focus to its core civil and defence businesses.

Flightscape is expected to continue operating as usual until the deal closes.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
