Doug McCartney has been appointed as the new president and CEO of the Composites Innovation Centre (CIC).
McCartney has strong executive level leadership experience on innovation, research, technology commercialization and business development matters.
He most recently was the CEO of Entrepreneurship Manitoba and has held a number of senior management positions with the government of Manitoba in areas related to science and technology business development.
McCartney replaces the recentluy retired Sean McKay, the CIC’s founding CEO, who had held the position since the CIC was created in 2003.
