EEGS May Meeting – Explore and Network

All are welcome to the next meeting of the East European Genealogical Society which provides an opportunity to become familiar with the EEGS library holdings and network with other family historians.

We will be meeting in The Atrium (Library, 5th Floor) at the University of Winnipeg, where the EEGS library holdings are kept. The meeting will include an informal round-table discussion, a tour of our map collection and a review of our library collection, highlighting selected items.

Attendees will be welcome to browse our collection on their own. Feel free to bring any documents that you may need help with, e.g., reading a baptismal or marriage certificate or perhaps a research challenge that you need help with (as time permits).

Location: University of Winnipeg Library – The Atrium, (Library, 5th floor); 515 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Note: Please use the main entrance on Portage Avenue (Centennial Hall), buzz the security intercom to gain access to the University after 6 pm. Security will provide directions to the Library.
