Hey there, time traveller!

Corner-cabinet projects are popular and practical, as they provide storage and a showcase for treasured keepsakes while taking up very little space in your home.
We have three corner-cabinet designs, all of which are easy and fun to build and which suit a wide variety of dcor.
Pictured is our most rustic corner cabinet. It stands 75 inches tall, 15 inches across, and has a simple, early-American design that requires no woodworking experience or complex tools to build.
A second design is slightly broader, measuring 20 inches across, and is more elegantly finished, although we have made your work easier by incorporating a prefabricated cupboard door for the cabinet’s lower section. Our final design is a craftsman’s cabinet that measures 30 inches across and has a pair of brass-mesh glass doors on top.
All our plans come with a complete materials list, step-by-step instructions, illustrations, and exploded diagrams that make for straightforward projects.
To begin the corner cabinet shown, ask for pattern No. CC5 and send $19.95 (please add $5 for postage and GST). For the more elegant design, ask for pattern No. 5035, and for the craftsman’s cabinet, No. 2926. Each of these latter plans is $17.95, but you can save and order all three plans for only $39.95 (postage and GST included).
Make your cheque or money order payable to Constructive Ideas and mail it, along with your request, to: Winnipeg Free Press, c/o P.O. Box 400, Beaconsfield, Que., H9W 5T9.
