A porch deck with a trellis cover will help you make the most of the nice weather we have. Add to it an optional but elegant outdoor dining set, and you can enjoy all your outdoor meals and more in the shade.
Unlike a patio or deck with a solid roof, a trellis cover helps to block a good portion of the sun’s harmful rays while still letting some light through. Plants will grow more readily on your deck, and you’ll enjoy a sense of privacy without feeling entirely closed in.

The porch plan is versatile enough to be altered to almost any size ranging from eight to 10 feet wide and from 12 to 24 feet long. Stair details also show how to elevate the deck so it makes for a convenient walk-out.

For the dining set (drawn on two plans), ask for the table (Pattern No. 5040) and the chair (No. 5041), and send $27.95. Save and order both the porch and trellis, and the dining set together for just $37.95 (plus $6 postage and GST).
