Hey there, time traveller!

THIS Craftsman curio cabinet will put your collectibles and your craftsmanship in the best possible light.

And while the clean lines and quartersawn oak tell you it’s a Craftsman-style cabinet, it’s the glass that makes it special.

For a picture-perfect view inside, this cabinet has bevelled glass panels in the doors and on each end. Even the adjustable shelves are made of glass so you can see from top to bottom. The glass doesn’t make the cabinet any harder to build, but it does make it heavy.

We have also used glass as a key element in two other cabinet projects including our six-sided glass curio cabinet and our corner curio cabinet. The best thing about the latter two projects is that they can be built in manageable stages.

Nonetheless, all three have been made as easy to build as is possible while keeping construction sturdy so each piece will last for years.

The plans for all three projects come complete with extensive and easy-to-follow instructions, and plenty of illustrations.

When finished, the Craftsman curio cabinet measures approximately 56 inches tall, 36 inches wide and 17 inches deep.

To begin your Craftsman curio cabinet, ask for Pattern No. 920163 and send $24.95 (please add $5 for postage and GST). For the bonus six-sided curio cabinet, ask for Pattern No. 5024 and for the corner cabinet, No. 5035. When ordered with the Craftsman curio cabinet, each of these plans is just $8. For all three, send just $45.95.

Make your cheque or money order payable to “Constructive Ideas” and mail it, along with your request, to: The Winnipeg Free Press, c/o PO Box 400, Beaconsfield, QC, H9W 5T9.

You may also order by calling toll-free, 1-800-561-8383 and by charging it to your Visa or MasterCard. Or, visit our web site at www.greatplans.com.
