Star Wars Pin Collection
Official 2005 Star Wars Pin Collection

April 29 – May 19, 2005

What is it?

The officially licensed collection is made up of a FREE collector’s album and a series of 20 pins featuring the photographic images of 20 Star Wars Characters.

Each pin will feature a photograph of the Star Wars character including the Star Wars logo and character name on the front (1 pin is available for each of the 20 days of the promotion).

The Album is designed to hold and protect the pins. It will feature an introductory article for Episode III, character biographies and summaries of all 6 Episodes. It will also contain photographs of all the characters and a special 2-page spread to hold the pins. It truly is a great collector’s keepsake for generations of Star Wars fans.

How does it work?

To launch the collection, a ‘FREE Album Coupon’ will be printed in the newspaper on Friday, April 29th for readers to take to participating retailers and redeem for their FREE Album. There will be a ‘BONUS Album Coupon’ printed on Saturday, April 30th, to allow those who missed the album on Friday to start their collection, while supplies last.

A limited amount of full sets (including album) will also be available for Winnipeg Free Press PressCard Holders to be purchased as full sets and sent out by mail. Please call (204) 697-7542 for more information.

The first PIN COUPON will appear in the Winnipeg Free Press on Saturday, April 30th. Coupons will continue each day for a total of 20 days. Simply cut out the coupon and present at any participating Winnipeg Free Press retailer to purchase a pin for $2.69 plus taxes.

A different STAR WARS pin will be released and available each day for the 20 days. The exception to this rule is the first pin, which is of Darth Vader. His pin will be available with coupon on Saturday, April 30th and with the bonus coupon on Sunday, May 1st, while supplies last.

Each pin will showcase a different STAR WARS character from across all six Episodes…20 characters in this collection.

Readers will be able to collect all 20 pins and everyone who buys the pins each day, will be able to complete their set.
