LONDON, Ont. (CP) – The process of setting trial dates begins Wednesday for the eight people charged in the killings of eight Bandidos bikers.

The bodies of the dead bikers were found on April 8, 2006, stuffed in abandoned vehicles on a rural road in Shedden, Ont. Six of the accused are charged with first-degree murder and the other two suspects are charged with being accessories after the fact.

A three-month preliminary hearing ended last month when a judge in London, Ont. ordered all of the accused to stand trial. Additional details of the preliminary hearing cannot be reported due to a court-imposed publication ban.

The six people charged with first-degree murder are Wayne Kellestine, 58, of Dutton-Dunwich, Ont.; Michael Sandham, 37, of Winnipeg; Dwight Mushey, 39, of Winnipeg; Frank Mather, 33, of Dutton-Dunwich; Marcelo Aravena, 31, of Winnipeg; and Brett Gardiner, 23, of no fixed address.

The accessory charges are against Eric Niessen, 46, of Mitchell, Ont., and Kerry Morris, 47, of Monkton, Ont.
