TORONTO – Canada Post and PostNet announced Monday that the post office’s shipping services will be available at the stores of the printing, copying and packaging provider as it grows in Canada.

“This relationship enables PostNet to offer its complete selection of printing services, complemented by Canada Post’s shipping services,” stated Rob Anderson, president of the Canadian franchiser for privately held PostNet, whose world headquarters are in Denver.

“We have Purolator, FedEx and now Canada Post – none of our competitors offer this complete a solution,” said Anderson, who aims to expand PostNet to more than 300 franchises across the country, from 11 at present.

Louis O’Brien, senior vice-president of Canada Post Parcels, said the Crown corporation “believes the result will be significant new revenue growth for both companies, a stronger presence in the small business market and most importantly, better served Canadian small business customers.”
