MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Purolator Courier Ltd. and Teamsters Canada have reached a tentative agreement for a contract renewal for the company’s couriers, package handlers, transport truck drivers and owner-operators across Canada.

The company said Thursday that the union’s economic committee has recommended the offer to its membership. Details of the agreement were not immediately available.

Ratification votes are expected to take place over the next several weeks.

Purolator has over 12,500 employees, including more than 3,500 couriers, over–0 operations locations and over 150 shipping centres.
