When 217 Lamont Boulevard was built in 2018, it was the first home to break the $3 million barrier in Tuxedo.

However, as spectacular as the 4,627 square-foot, two-storey masterpiece was back then, it’s that much more spectacular now, says Garrett Parker of Royal LePage Dynamic Real Estate.

“When the current owners bought it, they recognized that a few things needed to be done to make it even better,” says Parker, who’s marketing the home along with Royal LePage teammates Chris Pennycook and Val Miller. “While the changes were subtle, they really made the home the best it could be.”

Offering more than 6,000 sq. ft. of total living space, the masterfully designed luxury home is the total package.

The first change involved opening the great room up to the grand, magnificently tiled foyer.

“That achieved two things — it made the great room more accessible and made the upper-level staircase — which looks like an Elven masterpiece from Lord of the Rings with its intricately carved posts and curved handrails — a true focal point,” he notes. “Then, there’s the great room, which is just a jaw dropper.”

With its soaring, honeycombed ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows, arresting chandelier, and classic fireplace with black porcelain tile feature wall above, it’s a true thing of beauty.

Miller says the two spaces adjacent to the kitchen — a smashing formal dining room which was also modified to make it more functional and a sitting room with illuminated double tray ceiling and elegant chandelier – round out the main floor, which also offers an office and powder room.

Highlights include the extravagant, curvaceous staircase up to the home’s second floor, and you find a wide landing area around which four spaces are arranged in logical fashion: three secondary bedrooms, and, of course, the primary bedroom.

The amazing kitchen opens onto a light-filled eating area.

“Each of the bedrooms has its own ensuite with the exception of one of the secondary bedrooms, while each secondary bedroom also has its own walk-in closet,” she says. “Every room is like a little slice of heaven.”

As should be the case, the primary bedroom — which checks in at nearly 19 feet by 16 feet — is the most heavenly.

“It has everything you could possibly want from a gorgeous tray ceiling with a mod chandelier to its own linear electric fireplace, a private balcony and amazing walk-in closet with all its built-in storage,” she says. “And the ensuite is stunning with its tiled soaker tub, tile floor and walk-in shower with its gorgeous gold tile backdrop.”

Ascend downstairs to the home’s lower level via the striking staircase, and you find about 1,600 sq. ft. of fully finished living space to enjoy.

“Initially, it was finished but empty,” says Parker. “The outgoing owners filled it out beautifully with a bedroom, full bath and rec room with games area, amazing wet bar and media area, There’s also a home theater, and gym. The area is perfect for entertaining or enjoying hours of family fun.”

The great room’s front wall was opened up to make the space more accessible.

He adds that the backyard was also designed for hosting or kicking back with the family.

“It’s spectacular and is just an outdoor extension of the indoor living space. It comes with an award-winning Windeck entertaining area with kitchen, covered entertainment area, uncovered entertainment area with pop-up TV, pool and hot tub. It’s an amazing spot to spend time in during the summer.”

The home — which offers over 6,000 sq. ft. of living space — is the total package, says Miller.

“Its craftsmanship is superior, the finishes are of the highest quality and the detailing is unmatched in its elegance,” she says. “When you add in details like a wood structural floor, a triple attached garage with heated floor and a great location in one of the city’s most central and sought-after neighbourhoods, you have a wonderfully designed luxury home that lacks nothing.”
