For one reason or another, homes tend to come up for sale infrequently in certain neighbourhoods.

One of those neighbourhoods is Royalwood.

An unhurried drive through the area quickly shows you why its residents love living there.

Mature trees line the streets and surround the homes, giving the area a countrified feel, something that’s amplified by the fact that the community is set next to the Bois-des-Esprits, a 117-acre urban forest.

Featuring a two-kilometre-long trail system that runs through it next to the Seine River, it buffers the area from nearby St. Anne’s Road, creating a sense of peace and seclusion that envelopes you as you walk or drive down Shorehill Drive.

And while homes seldom come available in the tranquil enclave, one has just recently come to market, says Logan Queen of RE/MAX Professionals.
