WINNIPEG police are asking the public for help in locating Shane David Ferguson, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Police are seeking Ferguson, 26, after an assault at a home in the 900 block of Westminster Ave. in June 2009. Ferguson was allegedly part of a trio who forced their way into the home and attacked a 22-year-old man.

One of the men, Joel Gary Geddes, 26, was arrested by RCMP last week in Swift Current, Sask. Ferguson remains at large. The investigation is being led by the organized crime unit.
