Portage la Prairie RCMP have issued a warrant for a 24-year-old man wanted on charges of assault and forcible confinement.
Evan McFarlane Freed is wanted in connection with an incident that occurred in Portage la Prairie on Jan. 30.
He is charged with assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats and failing to appear in court.
Freed is described as 6-2, 165 pounds with a fair complexion, black hair, hazel eyes and a slender build.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP at (204) 857-4445 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
