CAA Manitoba’s Worst Roads campaign issued its Top-10 list Friday that includes seven Winnnipeg streets and three major Manitoba highways.
St. James Street won the dubious distinction of being the worst road in Manitoba.
CAA Manitoba analyzed the data by road, community and municipality. A report was circulated to more than 100 municipalities earlier this week.
While the results are not scientific, CAA Manitoba’s public and government affairs manager, Liz Peters, said in a news release the results are important to keep the ongoing infrastructure condition and funding discussion top of mind for everyone — especially government.
