A high-risk sex offender who preys on young boys is going back to jail.
Ryan James Gabourie will spend another 398 days in jail after he pleaded guilty Thursday to breaching terms of his probation.
Court was told Gabourie had served seven years in prison for sexually molesting five young boys between the ages of five and 11.
Gabourie was released in 2011 on strict terms, which included not to use or possess a device that can connect to the Internet. But he was arrested in June 2012, after police learned he had created a profile on Facebook and was contacting young boys.
Gabourie served a six-month jail stint for that breach and was released Nov. 13, again with conditions he not access the Internet.
Police placed Gabourie under surveillance and officers found him the day following his release at the Millennium Library, where he was using the Internet.
Court was told Gabourie had not responded to sex-offender treatment in prison and was considered a narcissistic pedophile who is at a high risk to offend again.
