Hey there, time traveller!

IT won’t be cats and dogs getting into your garbage overnight for the next few days — it will be refuse and recycling collection service workers.
The city announced Thursday that because garbage and recycling collection services are behind an average of half a day due to the effect the extreme cold is having on equipment (and with a few centimetres of snow forecast to fall today), crews will be out 24 hours a day until Sunday.
“To our knowledge, this is the first time that we have had such a large operation working around the clock,” city spokeswoman Alissa Clark said.
The city is asking everyone to leave their carts out until they are emptied by garbage crews.
