Former city entomologist Taz Stuart has lent his extermination expertise to a business that promises to make backyards and special events mosquito-free.
Stuart has helped develop Mosquito Tech, a Winnipeg company that promises to provide “homeowners and other outdoor facilities with summer relief from the problem that plagues many homeowners.”
Stuart does not own the business. Founder Kevin Meilleur said in a statement his company will debut its products and services Saturday at the Home Expressions Show at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg.
Stuart left the employ of the city in August. He has been advising insect-control companies and plans to publish a series of kids’ books about insects.
